Air Source Heat Pumps
An Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) works by converting the energy of the outside air into heat to provide a comfortable environment as well as the hot water.
They produce hot water at lower temp than boilers and are extremely efficient in doing so and are also ideal to be used in conjunction with an underfloor heating system.
An ASHP will cover the heating and hot water requirements all year round including during winter even at outside temperatures of 5°C a heat pump can draw enough energy from the air to cope with the heating demand.
